HOW TO PREPARE
Kaiserschmarrn (Emperor's Mess) is a lightly sweetened pancake that takes its name from the Austrian emperor (Kaiser) Franz Joseph I, who was very fond of this kind of fluffy shredded pancake. It is served as a dessert or as a light lunch.

You will need a frying pan 20 cm, 150 ml of fresh milk, two eggs and two tablespoons butter.
In a bowl, mix THE SCHMARRN pancake mix with fresh milk till well mixed. Let the batter stand for a few minutes, then add the eggs and mix well.
In a frying pan, melt two tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour in the pancake batter into the hot pan and fry until golden brown on the bottom. Flip pancake and continue to cook on other side until browned. Using two forks, tear pancake into bite-size pieces and continue cooking briefly.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with plum compote or apple sauce.
APPLE SAUCE
500 g apples, 40 ml water, one tablespoon sugar, one cinnamon stick

Cut the apples into small pieces and remove the seeds.​ Boil water, sugar and cinnamon in a pot and add the apples to the boiling pot. Cover the pot and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Apples need to be crumbly, if not dispersed enough, boil for another 10-15 minutes. Remove the apples from the heat and blend. Your sauce is ready.
